A lodge built by hand.
Jeff had his eye on one piece of ground for about thirty-five years: a lookout point at the head of Wright Creek. The first time it came up for sale, he couldn’t afford it. Fifteen years later he told the owner that if he ever wanted to sell, Jeff wanted to buy, and eventually that call came.
He and his wife, Alana, then built the lodge themselves. Every log was draw-knifed and fitted by hand, the center support beam was cut from the surrounding forest, and the property runs off-grid on its own solar, wind, and generator power and its own water. Today they host guests from around the world.
Both raised in this area, Jeff and Alana spend their free time riding horses in the mountains, roping, snowmobiling, and fishing. Jeff brings that same patience, persistence, and local knowledge to your transaction.
